Yellow Buses route 33 is a council-subsidised bus route between Bournemouth and Christchurch, with a school day morning journey from Alum Chine.
History[]
In the pre-2017 network, this route served between Bournemouth and Christchurch, as of today's network.
Under the Yellow Buses network organisation in January 2017 grouping its routes with letter prefix, this route was grouped as a PRIORYLINE but its route number remained as one of the subsidised routes.
In April 2017, Yellow Buses reorganised its subsidised route network, and this route was merged with the Poole-Bournemouth section of route 20 to become the route D1, which ran via Poole, Penn Hill, Westbourne, Bournemouth, East Cliff, Boscombe, Kings Avenue and Christchurch.[1]
This change was reverted in April 2018 when Yellow Buses restored its old numbered route network.[2]
