Watford Stadium Halt railway station is on a disused railway in Hertfordshire, England. It served Vicarage Road stadium, home of Watford F.C., and was open only on matchdays. It still appears in lists of railway stations and still has published fares from other stations.
The track may be re-opened as part of the Metropolitan line Croxley Rail Link. It is not now planned to re-open the station because Watford West is deemed near enough to handle the stadium traffic but London Underground has not ruled out opening the station on matchdays if future increased crowds justify it.[citation needed]
