Poole Bus Station is a major bus hub located in Poole Town Centre, England.
The station adjoins the Dolphin Shopping Centre and is opposite the Lighthouse theatre. It is the largest bus station in Dorset and a key travel hub in the South Coast of England. The bus station is owned partially by Wilts & Dorset, branded locally as morebus and partially by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council. It is also used by National Express and Yellow Buses.
History[]
The Bus Station has been on its current site since the 1960s. It was redeveloped in 2009 with improved lighting and new kerbs, as well as the UK's largest outdoor mural being painted onto the ceiling.
In 2017, the bus station was severely flooded. Also in 2017 a £134million redesign of the bus station was revealed.
In 2020, Yellow Buses stopped using the station due to Anti-social behaviour in the area.
