morebus route 20 is a council-subsidised bus route between Poole and Castlepoint.
History[]
This route was originally operated by Yellow Buses.
Under the Yellow Buses network organisation in January 2017 grouping its routes with letter prefix, this route was grouped as a DOLPHINLINE but its route number remained as one of the subsidised routes.
In April 2017, Yellow Buses reorganised its subsidised route network, and this route was modified to serve East Cliff, Boscombe and Christchurch replacing route former route 33 and renumbered to route D1, and route C1 (former route 24) was extended to Castlepoint covering the section between Bournemouth and Castlepoint.[1]
This change was reverted in April 2018 when Yellow Buses restored its old numbered route network, with route 20 transferred to morebus.[2]
