The 324 is another route that has been created recently. In early 2010, the route was created. Although, many people actually opposed to the route been created. There were few supporters wanting to create the 324. The route was described as "Useless" as it terminus is at the same places where the 142 passes. The route was said to be "disturbing" residents of Abercorn Lane, St Andrews Drive and Culver Grove. The 8.9m buses are also said to be wearing out Buildings on Abercorn Lane. The route also has a bad frequency of waiting time up to 45 minutes.
Despite many opposing this route, Boris Johnson still created the route.
