The Class 387[1] is a type of EMU in the United Kingdom constructed by Bombardier Transportation for Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern (TSGN) franchise. These trains are part of the Electrostar family[2] and delivery of these units was in 2014 They were ordered to allow Template:BRC to be cascaded to other routes. In addition, an extra 140 carriages could be ordered.[3] These trains will then be replaced by Template:BRC trains.
